Its finally hump day whoo hoo!! We are counting down to the weekend cant wait for the beach, a much needed vacation! This week has went by so slow! So with the week crawling by thought I would try a new project, jelly making. Yes I know I am a little off my rocker for trying this, but what the heck. I didn't think it would be that difficult, I mean my mom has made it, my grandmothers, my husbands grandmothers why not me!! For starters I dont think they tried this with three screaming kids running around at 9:30 at night. First misatake! Oh well anyway after cooking down the blackberries, I had to strain them to get all the seeds out. This wasnt very difficult according to my good friend Glenda, just place the cheesecloth over the strainer pour in the berries mash, then finish ringing out the cloth with my hands. Sounded simple. Lets just say my hands are Barney purple and this morning I am still finding spots of blackberry juice on the wall and floor! Next I had to cook the juice and add the pectin and sugar, which went very smoothly unitl I relized my pot was to small the mixture bolied over all my stove and down under the burners! It was finally time to pour up the mixture into the jars. This would have been pretty simple if I would have had a funnel and a brain to remember the jars are hot. So needless to say jelly making will be one of those thing I think I will save for when the children are grown and I can possibly think!! So long for now!

Well its definitely Monday! It started out pretty good, we got up this morning and went to mom's house for what I thought would be a nice visit seeing as how we had'nt seen her in over a week. Big mistake! Lets just say they tore her house apart from one end to the other and Chase cried non-stop about everything!! Didn't get any better after we got home. While trying to put corn up Chase managed to spread through my house, two cans of chips, one bag of crackers, and a bowl of cheese!! It looked like a food bomb had went off! Then we had the drama of Lainee getting her finger pinched in the door along with Levy and Chase fight constantly!! In between all of this I did manage to get the corn up, cook supper, bathe them, and bake a cake. Don't know how but I did. So I'm really hoping after going to bed I will wake up in the morning to a GREAT Tuesday, but with my clan there is no telling. So long for now.

I know I know this is my first post should have done this months ago! What can I say well my kids dont allow me to have any me time! Well lets see my week started off the same as always Larry leaving for Atlanta and waking up to crying kids. ( for their daddy of course!) Monday was uneventful. Tuesday was actually heavenly! the boys were invited to a spend the night party. Yes even Chase!! He actually made until 4:45a.m. when my phone rang and he was ready for mama! I was happy I wont lie, it made me sad him spending the night off for the first time. Anyway after resting a couple of more hours he was ready to go back. So he and Levy spent the day swimming and me and Lainee had girls day around the house. I conquered my huge to do list along with a few extras! Wednesday night was church. Also an escape for me!! I think Misson Friends hate to see me come!! LOL! Thursday is grocery day and it was pleasent this week, Larry's dad kept the boys and me and Lainee shopped! Which brings us to today. Larry went back to the doctor and I am excited to say recieved a A+ in his recheck! The down side we have not seen him all day he left this morning at 6 for meetings and interviews and has made it home yet. I have been cooking, the one thing I dont need to be doing! Red velvet cupcakes with fluffy cream cheese icing and right now I am working on homemade cinnamon rolls who knows whats next! Well ta ta for now!
